Automation

As you work on a document, Fireworks records the steps you make in the History panel. You can use the History panel to undo steps, reverting the document to a previous state. You can also use the History panel to automate tasks by replaying steps.

1	Select the Gifts button.
2	In the History panel, Shift-click the last two steps, both of which are named Effect. These two steps are the Bevel and Drop Shadow effects that you applied to the Our Story button.
3	Click the Replay button in the History panel. Fireworks applies the Bevel and Drop Shadow effects to the Gifts button.
